Kuenzler on the move — again
In November 2009 when local businessman Michael Kuenzler needed a new challenge, he became the fifth investor in the Meadow Creek Golf Club, Inc., the tough 18-hole course in Dracut studded with trophy homes.
“This is the hidden jewel of Dracut,” Kuenzler told The Sun in a Nov. 25, 2009 article.
Well, apparently the jewel has lost some its shine.
Earlier this fall Kuenzler, the former Lowell cop and Saints Medical Center fundraiser, sold his interest back to president and majority owner, Jeffrey Brem, the Carlisle engineer and former Chelmsford selectman.
“It’s all good,” Kuenzler told The Column. “It was just a good business move for me to make.”
Through it all, Kuenzler never relinquished ownership of his original business, All-Sports Heroes, a sports silk-screening, embroidery and uniform business. And that’s where he’ll be spending all his time.
“I need to focus on All-Sports Heroes,” he said. “It’s that simple. Now maybe I’ll get a chance to golf there.”
